Really Great Stories
Many times I feel like I live a rather mundane life. Don't get me wrong, life is GREAT... BUT sometimes it just feels "plain" and "boring." Very.... regular. There's nothing wrong with a regular life, except.... my life isn't just....regular. In fact, my life is full of some REALLY cool stories.
When I meet someone new that doesn't know anything about me and where I grew up and the things I've experienced in the last 12 years of being a grown up - and I tell them our story... it makes me realize how cool our story actually is. It's so easy for me to forget about these because they happen and then we settle back into our regular life....
-Growing up with a giant family in a small town
-Meeting and marrying my husband
-Our move to West Virginia and everything surrounding our time there
-Our move to Kansas City and everything involved in that process
-Steven's career
-The conception and early birth of our first born, Annie
-The fun and unique birth of our second born, Emery
And last but not least, our newest news: the purchase of our new home. I have told this on Facebook but I really can't wait to blog about it so it'll be a "permanent" memory. Haha! When we started the process I told our realtor, who is also one of my dearest friends, that I wanted the story the transaction would produce even more than I wanted the house itself - because it is such a "Steven and Ashley" thing to do!! Not only did we get our house (we are waiting on the appraisals to clear before it is official), but we got another really awesome story!!!
So if you haven't heard some of our stories, you should totally ask me because they are nothing short of amazing!
