Bathroom Makeover

There is a deep longing in my heart for a new house.  A bigger, fancier, shinier more beautiful house.  But considering we just bought a new car (and by new I mean....40 miles, brand spanking new), that is out of the picture for a few years.  Not to mention we are still a few raises away from my dream house, which I am willing to wait for.

So in the mean time I've decided to put my creative energy and resources into making my current home into my perfect wonderland.  I'd like to think I have a creative eye and a good ability to piece things together in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. AND let's face it, I spend 80% of my days with people under the age of 4, and I just need an outlet!!

 I have spent the last few weeks rethinking my style - trying to pin point what exactly it is that I want, which direction I want to go, and how to do it as cheaply as possible.  I redecorated my foyer a few times and I've landed on this, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE to no end - and it has been a "dream board" of sorts which will filter through my entire 1600 sq ft of living space.  My hope is to go room by room, wall by wall, taking my time until every detail is perfect :)

My bathroom is small, meaning it was the easiest place to start.  Here are the before pictures.  Mind you: this is when we FIRST moved in.  Over the last few years I've slowly made changes - the wall color was changed last year and I also painted the vanity about 2 years ago.  But for the sake of this post, these before photos are great!

The total cost of this bathroom makeover was about $22, which my husband was SUPER excited about!  I love every inch of this space and am SO excited about it!  Now to figure out what to do next!!!
