Organization Station
I'm the kind of girl that functions better with lists. If there is nothing written down to remind me what I need to do - I usually fail to do it. Considering we are 7-10 weeks away from welcoming our second child, this mama needs some serious lists in her life.
Yesterday while my tot was napping I got my creative juices flowing and I came up with the ultimate "list" solution. I've seen ideas like this on pinterest (so unfortunately I cannot claim it as my original idea) - but none of them quite suit my needs. SO... I started with a blank 8x10 "sheet" of paper and created my own! I am so in love with how this turned out and I feel more organized already! (I had to reprint the cleaning list because I copied the section from Saturday to Sunday and forgot to actually change the list!) I tried to keep my list as simple as possible so that I can actually accomplish each task. Of course there are other things that need to be done around my house, but a lot of those things are "clean em as you see em" kind of things. The calendar in the photo is one that I bought at Target, I think, years ago for like, $3....
Many of you have asked me for my templates, so here ya go!! To save these images, just right click and save!
1. My Cleaning List: To customize this to fit your own needs, you'll just need to open the image in an editing program. You can go to www.picmonkey.com and click the "design" button. Upload the image and add your items to the list! To make the font match here is the color code: 978672
As you complete each task, put a little check mark beside it!
2. Menu
3. To-do List
Just print these photos out as an 8x10 (you can print them at home or if you have a crappy quality printer you can always order them as an 8x10 photo from Walmart, etc). Trim the photos to size and put each one in an 8x10 frame of your style! Not only does it serve as DIY home decor, but it makes the lists dry-erase because you can write on the glass of the frame with a dry erase marker!
