Annie's First Bath

We are pretty sure that Annie didn't have a bath during her week long stay in the NICU. When we brought her home her hair was pretty greasy and she smelled like an old bandaid. She has friends coming to visit her tonight, so we decided that it was high time to give our teeny tiny a bath!

We got everything set up before we got her undressed and everyone had their job to do. Grandma undressed her. I bathed her. Grandma dried her off. And Daddy held her skin to skin to warm her up. Once we were all clear on our responsibilities, we let the party begin.



Grandma gets me undressed.  I HATE, HATE, HATE getting undressed.  It's quite possibly the worst thing ever, 2nd only to getting my diaper changed.

I do not like taking baths.

Washing my hair is even worse!!



Starting to settle down a bit now that my stinky is being washed away!  I actually smell pretty good!



Now I realize that it's cold out here too...

I immediately stop crying once Grandma dries me off. I'm so glad that its over.
 

Mama makes me feel better.

Skin to skin with daddy is a wonderful thing.
  I love him and he loves me.

Cuddling with daddy is one of the best things ever.



Bathed, dressed, and in the arms of daddy.  Life is good.
