Pregnancy: Month 7

Week 27:
About my body: The top half of my innie is now an outie.   And one word: flatulence...  I read about this... and have now experienced it full force. (tehehe) and that's all I will say about that.  My weight seems to be hitting my thighs and they are getting jiggly.  I am not a fan of this.  I got a prenatal toning/cardio video and I love it.  Perhaps I can tone these babies up in the next 13 weeks.  I am starting to waddle and am experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions on a daily basis, but they arent frequent enough to cause alarm.

About my baby:  She's still sideways in my belly and her movements are getting stronger and stronger!  Typically when she moves I can feel both ends of her!  Annie and Steven like to play together.  When she starts kicking he'll put his hand on my belly.  Once he finds her, he'll take it down to a few fingers.  When she kicks him, he pokes her, then she kicks back, and so forth and so on until he stops.  Makes me melt.

Week 28
Body:
I believe this is where pregnancy starts to get uncomfortable :/  Granted I cannot complain - God has been incredibly gracious to me - everything has been so easy!!  However, things are starting to ache, it's getting more and more difficult to sleep because it's simply not comfortable, I wake up every 2hrs in the night to go to the bathroom only to have to get situated all over again... and there are pains in my pelvic area that I didn't foresee coming - particularly after I've been sitting for a while and then stand.  (see my week 29 midwife appointment post for the "why!")

Baby:
I'm getting more and more excited about her!!  Lately I can feel some of her little parts whenever she moves!  She'll shift, my tummy will get super tight in an area, so I reach down and feel - and i feel a little round head or a little butt.. or a tiny part that I assume is a hand or an elbow.  I'll put my hand on it and I can slowly feel her backing away.  SO cool!!!!

OH - and we had a baby shower at my in-laws!!  Annie got some much needed things!! A huge thanks to mom and sister for having this for us - and to all of the aunts and cousins who came!!!

Week 29
Two words for this week: Heartburn and Indegestion.  And if I haven't mentioned it.. my innie is now an outie.  Annie is so stinkin active at night!!  At one point this week she kicked for a good 35 minutes straight as I was trying to fall asleep!  Then she would stick her little hiney up in the "air" (aka.. my side) - I would hold it and she would put it away.  I'd remove my hand and up it would go!  SO cute.

Week 30
The heartburn has eased up (woo hoo!!)
You can see my outie through my shirt :/

I had my final baby shower this week in Forrest City, AR!  A HUGE HUGE thanks to my mama for all of the hard work she put into it.  It was perfect!  Steven and I are so incredibly blessed with so many great friends and family members in that tiny little town.  They were so generous to us in showering us with gifts for our little sweetie!  Thanks to them Annie has everything she needs - and then some!  People always tell us "Oh you can never have too much of.... this... or that..."  At this point I beg to differ!  Here are some pics!
