Stomach Virus - Oh no.
Our friends The Hill's have had a bout with a stomach bug. It has spread through all 5 of them over the course of the last week. We were at their house on Sunday... and guess what struck my husband this morning around 5am? That's right ladies and gentlemen. It has reached our house. Steven was in the bathroom about every 20 minutes for 4 hours straight. Nothing has come out of him since about 9am, though he is still in pain & finds that laying in the fetal position serves him best.
Our dear friends did bring some Gatorade over to him since I had to work today - and he seems to be feeling a little bit better. They are sweet aren't they? Getting him ill... and then nursing him back to health. Amanda said to me, "Hey, we're just trying to apply Biblical principles in every day life..'All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had' (Acts 4:32" HAH. Funny Amanda.
So far it hasnt reached me, but I fear that it's on its way. I'm a little scared b/c I should be accepted into Kendle for a clinical trial... and if I get sick, this virus could end up costing me $2200. Steven is in the middle of a trial right now & I hope this wont affect his study. If so... he could lose $2500... and we cant afford to do that. SO - pray for us :)

Amanda sure has a good sense of humor--I love it! Here's hoping Steven get's better, you stay well, and Kendle comes through with the *stash*.... :)
ReplyDeleteI thought so too. She's a hoot. Steven is feeling better, but still a little weak. Everything seemed to go ok with his study. AND I got accepted for mine! Let's hope the virus stays away from me. The downside is... no babies until at least March!
