FLASH MOB!!!
I got to participate in my very FIRST flash mob on Friday! For those of you who dont know, a flash mob is a group of seemingly random people who assemble suddenly in a very public place and perform some form of act - most typically a dance - and then disperse. I've seen them on YouTube & find them to be hillarious, so two months ago when I was invited to be a part of one - I couldnt say no!
I have no idea how this group of people came to be. My friend Seret invited me b/c she was invited. I didnt know anyone else in the group except her - though I had a great time meeting new friends. We did the flash mob before the WVU Homecoming Parade on High Street! Steven captured the video as it started... so you dont get the full effect of the music just popping in out of the blue - or the faces of the crowd when they were a little confused as to what was going on. However, the fact that our shirts said "Flash Mob" probably gave us away:) Anyways, it was a BLAST!!
