What a Weekend!

The "Act Like Men"Conference was this weekend in Columbus, OH. My husband - along with 10 other guys at our church got to attend, thus leaving 10 women without wives...

I HATE when my husband has to go out of town... but I have to say that this was definitely the weekend for him to go! There was so much going on and it kept me completely distracted from being miserable! Last night our church had a "Ladies Night" and one of our friends did a Pampered Chef cooking demo for us! We cooked, laughed, talked... you know, lady things! We also celebrated Suzie's birthday and got to pray over a dear friend who is leaving at the end of the month to go to Vietnam for 2 years! I love the women in our church so much and I so enjoy getting together with them! Afterwards Mel and I had a slumber party at her house (since our husbands were gone...) which was a blast!!

This morning we got up and went shopping with 4 other girls and literally shopped til we dropped! Then Melanie and I spent the afternoon hanging out and watching movies!

As much fun as I had this weekend, I cannot WAIT until my husband gets home!! Ive missed him like crazy!! The good news is... he'll be here in an hour!!
