Rebecca St James!
Last year our church hosted a benefit concert for Labor of Love Ministries (www.lolministries.net). Aaron Shust, Laura Story, and Downhere came and we got to meet and hang out with them - which was pretty awesome!!
The time has come for another concert!! While our church will not be hosting it this year, the beneficiary is still the same! Rebecca St James will be in Morgantown at CMA Church on May 17th! The concert will of course, benefit Labor of Love Ministries. I am super excited that I was invited to the initial planning meeting, which is on Monday. I had such a blast helping out with last year's concert, so I am really excited and honored to be a part of the planning committee this year!
I have heard great things from Judy, the executive director at Labor of Love - about Rebecca St. James style. She will actually spend a day at the maternity home hanging out with the residents... and other things of that nature!
Be in prayer for this event - that in addition to raising money for this ministry, that hearts and lives would be changed for the glory of God!!
(Also, as a side note - please pray for two 16 year old girls that Judy is currently counseling. They both have abortions scheduled for Monday, March 7th - so be on your FACE for these little babies! That God would change their mothers hearts!!)

I regret to say that the two teen mothers decided to go through with their abortions... with their mothers' full approval and support.

UPDATE: One of the teens did NOT go through with the abortion. Once they arrived at the clinic her mother could not let her go through with it. Praise be to God!! Two lives were saved! (The baby and the mother... oh the scars she would have bore)
