BLING!!!

Steven and I have been discussing me getting a diamond band to go with my solitaire (Ok, so IVE been discussing it... he's been listening). Ive looked at a few here and there, but I haven't really found anything that looks very good with the cathedral setting that my solitaire is in now. That is... until today!!

I found an enhancer (that provides a "band" on BOTH sides of my ring) - and I am in love. And... get this.. MY HUSBAND BOUGHT IT FOR ME!!! I showed it to him in the store... and without me having to beg or even break out the pouty face he said, "ring it up!" I almost fell out of my chair. The sad news is - it didnt fit so they had to send it away to be sized... and they had to send my solitaire away to get rhodium plated (so it would shine like the new enhancer) and to be sure they would fit together nicely. It'll be gone for ten days!! So I have all this bling... and I sit here wearing a plain ole band.... though it is a band that I love.

So YAY! Happy Valentines day to me!!!!

(Steven got a new titanium band too - so Happy Valentines Day to him!)
Oh.. and ignore my dry-looking hands. I attacked them with lotion shortly after this was taken.

Since this beautiful set-up wont get here until around Feb 1st, I am wearing my original wedding band... and my bubblegum ring! A few months after we got engaged, I decided that I wanted my ring to be a 1/2 size smaller. It took our local repair shop about a week to size it - and since we were newly engaged, Steven wanted me to have a ring on my finger! We were at Walmart & he bought me a bubblegum ring to wear while my rock was away. I have kept this little bubblegum ring for 6 years!! This morning when I woke up, I put my wedding band on and right before I left the house Steven said "WAIT!! Your bubblegum ring!!" And so from now until my sparklies get here... I'm wearing this:
