The Heap
I feel like I need to blog... but am not sure what to specifically blog about, so I'll blog about everything! Here we go...
- Ive been sick for a week. Steven got a bug 2 weeks ago and of course passed it on to me. The good news is: I always get the mild form. Sickness doesn't hit me very hard - if it hits me at all! He had a stuffy/runny nose & has been coughing like crazy. Ive just had a stuffy nose/runny nose, no cough. Ive not been functioning at 100% and will be glad when this thing goes away... I'm tired of buying Kleenexes! Everyone in my office seems to be sick too - which is good I guess...at least everyone is sick at the same time, right?
- Because I haven't been functioning at 100%, I've missed a little P90X. No worries though, we started again last night & are continuing on with the process. I feel fatter... but I dont think I am. I think the fat feeling... or BLAH as I call it - is a result from the yuck I've had.
- The snow has arrived!!! I am pretty sure it has been snowing every day since December 1st. We havent had much accumulation. An inch or so will stick, melt, stick, melt, etc. If Steven and I ever move (which is likely) - one of our requirements is snow. We love it and I think its one of the most beautiful things ever!! A lot of people here complain - and to you I say... You live in the wrong state. Its WV and it snows here.
- Steven's 1st semester of college is almost over!! Cannot believe how quickly it has gone by! His grades are great (I'll post final results when we get them!). Only 3 more to go!
- I got an external flash for my camera... so I can now take decent photos indoors!! I am doing my first Christmas photo shoot on Saturday.. inside, which means I get to use the flash! EEK!
- Steven & I bought an audio bible. 79cds worth of scripture!! We spend a significant amount of time in our vehicles everyday... and have decided to make the most of it! Love it!
- I accidentally packed my nephew's jacket in our luggage when we were in Arkansas ... and I discovered it the other day! He has been looking all over for it. Every time I go home I tell him that one day I'm going to pack him in my suitcase and take him home with me. So my mom told him, "Hey - Aunt Ashley packed your jacket in her suitcase. She said when she opened it the jacket was there, but you were gone... so I guess she's sending it back." He got a big kick out of it! I mailed it back today
at the end of my street in Fairmont!
