The End.
When I started my current job in May of last year - I was made aware that whenever our company was finished with it's project, my job would end. I took the job anyways b/c the pay was double what the normal rate for my position is in this area - and quite frankly - it was well worth the money :)
I work as an office assistant for Supreme Industries, Inc. Our company is currently working on the TrAIL project (http://www.aptrailinfo.com/index.php?page=overview) - subcontractors for Kenny Construction - who works for Allegheny Power. This project is an $820 million gig...
Well, the time has come! Supreme's part of the deal is almost complete. There is a little left to do here and there, but the lay-offs have started... with me. That's right. September 30th marks the last day of my employment with Supreme! It is something that I knew was coming, but didnt quite expect so soon. Yeah it was supposed to happen months ago - but things keep getting pushed further and further back - you never know what's going to happen.
This doesnt come at the most opportune time - especially with Steven in school & me being the primary provider. No worries though - I'm very optimistic. Though I was unaware of the date, my God was not. He has known this day was coming - even before I accepted the job - and I know that He has a plan! He knows exactly what we need & so we are clinging to Him to provide!
Over the last week I've submitted a ridiculous amount of resumes ... the good thing about Morgantown, West Virginia is ... there is work EVERYWHERE. The job market is ripe for harvest! I am just waiting on God to show me the right one... with the right salary!
So pray for us as the countdown begins... pray for us to have faith that our God can (because He can) & to wait on Him!
