House Update
We were supposed to get the keys to our new place on Friday. That didnt happen. We were supposed to get them yesterday. That didnt happen. We are a little bummed, but its for a good cause:
The land lady had intentions of replacing 4 windows before we moved in b/c they were old and a little drafty. Being the OCD person she is (praise God) - she couldnt have 4 unmatching windows, so they went through the whole place & replaced every window!!! Brand new windows in the entire place! Not only will this make or place look great - it'll also help keep the utilities low b/c they are very air tight! No draftiness! (Not to mention this will help a great deal with dust!!). It rained this past weekend so they were not able to completely finish.
They have decided to completely get rid of the 2 smaller windows on either side of the fireplace - they're odd sized & they are having trouble finding replacements - and in the layout of the house it'll look better if they arent there - (This is what they didnt finish).
They gave us the option to either go ahead and move in - or wait a little longer and let them finish these windows. We decided to wait b/c in the long run it'll be better if those windows arent there (theyre a little drafty... and odd sized, so it'll not only save on utilities - but make decorating way easier!!)
At this point we still dont have a date - but I hope it comes soon... the next 4 weeks are SO busy with Trish & Adam's wedding, DR Fundraisers, and my family coming to see me!!!!!! But...No complaints here :)
