House Update

To follow-up on my last post, lo and behold.. the Lord DID provide housing for Steven and I!! It is definitely not conventional nor is it the most ideal situation, but we do not serve a conventional God either!!

The Lord used a very dear friend of mine, Leasa (who is also my accountability partner) and her husband to answer our prayers. Duane (her husband) is an inspector and the job he was working at only lasted 7 weeks. Their prayer was that God would provide a job for him upon the completion of that one and that He would make straight their paths. Duane's job ended 2 Wednesdays ago. That SAME DAY the Lord provided him with a job... In North Dakota! So, Wednesday he got this job.. and their family (they have 2 children) left on THURSDAY (yes, the next day) for North Dakota! They will be spending a total of three weeks on this job and afterwards plan to return to Iowa to sell their house and spend some time with their oldest daughter. All in all they are looking to be away for at least two months.

Steven and I have temporarily moved into their home! We finished up our moving this past Saturday and are 100% OUT of the Suiter's. We have a VERY large room to ourselves upstairs at the Brouillard's and our own bathroom :) Actually, we have the whole entire house to ourselves, but you get it! haha. And for now, all of our "stuff" is stored in their attic and their garage! It's so cool how God intertwined our stories!! If it would not have been for Steven and I moving in, they would not have been able to take the job nor travel to Iowa! And if it would not have been for them, Steven and I would be out of a place to live! As I said, it is not the most conventional way to do things nor is it the most ideal situation. Ideally Steven and I would have loved to move straight into a place of our own, but God is not an ideal God... nor are His ways conventional! We know that God knows exactly what we need exactly when we need it. Regardless of how we see things, our God sees the bigger picture!

So, not only does this provide us a place to live, but it also provides the Brouillard's the freedom to pursue God's calling on their lives. It also gives us more time to find the perfect place. Perhaps the Lord has a place in mind for us already... we just have to wait a few months for it :)

So thank you all for your prayers and we ask that you will continue to pray for us as we continue the pursuit for a place of our own!

So this is where we are living for the next 2+ months! We have this HUGE house all to ourselves... well, for a few months anyways :)
