Weekend Fun
Saturday:
Steven and I (along with Sarah and Heaven Hamilton) went to Blackwater Falls State Park in Davis, WV on Saturday. It was absolutely breathtaking! There were three sets of falls - but we only saw two: Blackwater falls and the Falls of Elakala. On our way there we stopped by the smallest church in 48 states - which is in front of the smallest post office. The church holds 12 people, though I don't think it's active. But back to the falls - they were gorgeous! The Blackwater Falls drop about 62 feet and the falls of Elakala about 40 feet. As I watched the water fall over the edges... I couldn't help but praise God for the works of His hands - and think of heaven, my eternal home. I thought to myself, "If this is beautiful - and it is - how much more will heaven be!!"

Sunday:
Church was great Sunday, as always. We did a baby dedication (4 babies, actually), so there were a lot of visitors! We had over 100 people there - and were missing at least 20-30 regulars! Awesome!
Steven and Shane run on Sunday nights - while Ian and I ride our bikes beside them. After they/we ran Sunday, we all went swimming in this great little swimming hole in Decker's Creek. I'll take a camera next time, but there are about 4" water falls that drop into a great little hole! The water was a little chilly, but so refreshing!! There are actually two holes that you can swim in, seperated by rocks. The bottom of the creek was pretty slippery, so I have a small foot and leg injury from them. My leg isn't bad - just a little scraped up. My foot has a small knot on it, which is bruising more and more by the minute! I think everyone else escaped without injuries, except for Shane, who cut his toe on some glass. Next time we'll have to wear/get some river shoes! All in all - it was amazing!
