NEW OFFICE!!

Wednesday was a very eventful day around my office! After almost two months of waiting, we have moved! We've had this great space for a while and have been waiting on our internet people to get us up and going! I love our new building! The atmosphere is so different! I have my own office, so I feel very "official." I finally have my own spot that belongs to no one else! I've started decorating by making my bulletin boards nice and cute! I plan on hanging a valance over my window and bringing in a few plants and decor items to really make it mine! It's nice that everyone has their own individual offices - so you can work without worrying if you're disturbing anyone. And the greatest thing of all: I have to walk around the hall to get to my boss's office! Before, in our old space, we could have a conversation while staying at our desks. I could look up and see his face at any given moment. I like my boss and all - it just feels awkward when he can see you at all times. I feel like he's always watching me, wondering what I'm doing. Now I can work as I see fit and not have to worry about being "watched." It's great freedom!

With this move came new office furniture - for everyone! I have a large, very nice "L" desk, which doubles my space! I have a new office chair (that's amazingly comfy) and a new reception chair so that someone can sit if they come to see me! I have a new bookcase and more filing cabinets, which makes it way easier to organize things!

I've worked several hours of overtime this week - so needless to say it's been a busy week as far as work is concerned. Well, as far as everything is concerned really! I'm definitely ready for the weekend!
