Weekly Updates!
1. I am addicted to self tanner! haha! I have no idea why I've never done this before. Oh wait, yes I do - fear of being orange and streaky! Mine and Becky's plan has seemed to work out wonderfully! We've started using Clinique's self tanner on top of our initial spray - and so far, so good!! For a while I had splotchy feet, from where I put my shoes on after the intitial spray, but I finally have them all worked out!! I went to get a bang trim yesterday and the first thing my hair dresser said when i walked in was, "Hey Nice Tan!" *sweet* Having a tan makes every part of you look better!
2. Work has been better! We are getting ready to move on Friday into our new office space, which i am pretty stoked about - so there has been a lot going on. I just do not do very well with nothing to do! I've been packing and organizing - fun stuff! I'm starting to catch on to what my responsibilities are a little more as well!
3. Steven has been working like a maniac! He is absolutely exhausted! He puts in a hard day of work... only to come home to spend countless hours doing calculus homework! He only has a week of this left, and I know he will be so relieved! He's still praying about what to do with his passion... as far as career goes. We're begging God to reveal His plan for our lives!
4. Melanie and I have started a running routine! I got it from runnersworld.com - it takes you from being a couch potato to being able to run 30 minutes without stopping. If we stick to the detailed schedule that I have made for us, we should accomplish this by the end of August! She has been a great running partner for me! I'm so thankful for her! We were talking the other day - everyone has a running partner that suits them perfectly now! Steven & Shane, Ira & Ian, Me & Mel! Each group of partners are on a similar fitness level. It's so encouraging - and so much easier to exercise with a partner! Seems we don't let each other wimp out - and we push each other when we don't think we can go any further!
5. Cannot believe that the 4th of July is next weekend. Looking forward to a fun time!
6. Crossroads Church is still amazing! We got an unexpected $1500 check in the mail to pay for the new carpet! Our building is under construction and has had naked concrete floors for 3+ weeks now. The carpet guys are laying it today... so now we will be able to finish up the preschool and get the church offices situated!! It's so amazing how God provides!
