A Few Things
1. This week has not been my week! This is the third day in a row that I have been ridiculously sleepy! Usually after an hour or so of being up I can wake up - but that has not been the case this week! Maybe all of this going, going, going is catching up! I keep starring off into space!!
2. Becky and I go to the tanning salon today to get our tan! We're both a little nervous about it! I think I'm more nervous about having to stand naked in front of the "painter" than I am about the tan being a complete disaster. For some reason I feel like the tan will be perfect (which I am hoping is the case!) I've exfoliated really well for the past few days to the point that my skin is SO soft.. its ridiculous. I'm a little chilly at the office today, so I keep rubbing my arms... and every time I do it I think, "Wow! You're smoooooth!" It's so exciting! So, after we get our tan, I'm going to Victoria's Secret to get part 2 of beautiful skin: sunless tanner - that we will apply beginning tomorrow! The plan seems perfect in our heads... but we'll see! The things we do for vanity!!
3. Tonight is our first discussion time at small group and I'm SO excited! I did my reading last night and am so in love with the book! We were only supposed to read chapter one, but I couldn't put it down, so I'm not on Chapter 5! We're studying "The Principle of the Path" by Andy Stanley - I'm sure I'll post lots on this topic over the next 10 weeks! I'm so excited to see what God is going to do in me through this study!!
4. Melanie are official running partners! We start tomorrow!
5. Our church is having a big yard sale this weekend! My house has turned into a drop-off depot! haha I love yard sales! They are so much fun - but wow are they a lot of work! I don't foresee any rest this weekend!! It's fine though, I'm too excited! We're getting together Friday night to get things together - and then the yard sale is Saturday! All help is appreciated :)
