What a week
Classes started this week - so it has been pretty crazy around here! Work is really really busy... which makes time go by quicker, but makes for a very long week!
We met our new "landlords" Wednesday night. They're a sweet little couple that moved here in July from Iowa. They're really funny though. They invited us over to their house and we talked for an hour and a half. While we were there they asked us a few questions about the house. They were the most random questions ever. Like... "how many settings do your ceiling fans have?" "We noticed the attic door was cracked. Could you close it?" "Does the light pole in the front yard work?"(granted, that's pretty valid)
The lady, Mrs. Dodson, also told me that when they did their final walk through, they noticed that our air filter was dirty, so they took it outside and dusted it out. She then says to me "We got a new filter for you, so here, take this one home and change it." HAHA.. WOA! They've owned the house a week! They're really sweet - but I thought it was really funny that she looked at my air filter, noticed it was dirty, bought me a new one, and told me to change it! Now... we have plenty of air filters, and try to keep track of how often we change them. We were a little behind this time... apparently!
This will be an interesting 2 1/2 months I think! Now that we "know" them and in a sense have invited them into our lives... I'm pretty sure they'll be all in them! Which... I can understand - it's their new house and they're going to be excited about getting into it - I Just hope they dont want to come over everyday!... Ya know!
