Birthday Weekend

Remember how I bragged on my husband in the last post about his amazing gift giving abilities!? Well... he just never ceases to amaze me! When I got home from work Friday, he made me get directly into his vehicle. I got out of mine and straight into his. He wouldn't even let me go inside to use the bathroom!! We went to Memphis and he took me to eat at my favorite restaurant (Olive Garden). Over dinner we talked about going bowling or something of the sort, so when we left we headed towards I-40. He got contacts on Thursday and they were really bothering his eyes, so I asked him if he wanted to go to Walmart or Target to get some drops. He said no and kept going. All of a sudden he turns in to the Home Depot/Linens and Things/Toys R Us shopping center and I'm like, "what are you doing?!" And he says, "Isn't there some kind of little dollar store or something over here?? I think I do want to get some eye drops." There's not a dollar store there, by the way! So he's looking and looking, while I'm assuring him that there is no dollar store there. Target was just a few shopping centers away, but there wasn't one where we were. So he goes all the way down by Joe's Crab Shack and was like, "Well... I guess I have to turn around." Then he pulls into a hotel driveway (Where you would pull in to register) - so then I'm like, "Steven what in the world are you doing!" Come to find out... he reserved a suite for us at the Hyatt so that we could spend the night!!!

I was really excited and all was well... except for the fact I didn't have any clothes or anything!! The reason he wouldn't let me go inside when I got home from work is because he packed my suitcase and he didn't want me to notice that things were missing. He packed me three different types of socks and underwear b/c he wasn't sure which type I would want to wear. He packed all of my hair stuff. He brought things for me to do my hair straight and things for me to do my hair curly. He brought EVERYTHING! I was very impressed, to say the very least!!

I LOVED our room! Not sure if you've ever stayed at a Hyatt - but it was really contemporary and looked like a little apartment.. not a hotel. The TV in the room was a 46inch flat screen... there was a sectional type couch... wow.

So - my husband definitely racked up brownie points this weekend! We had such a great time! He is so amazing! Thanks for such an incredible weekend babe! I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU!!!
