Job Update

So, I'm into my second week at EACC and I'm loving it! I'm starting to get a feel for what I'm supposed to be doing! I've done lots of small projects for instructors and have even helped my boss complete a few projects for pressing deadlines! The most recent completion was proposals for Academic Standards. We are in process of adding a new degree to the school and with that comes lots of paperwork! My boss has never had to do this before, so in two short days I helped him figure it out and I put it together for him! So, I'm catching on very quickly and my boss seems to be impressed with the speed and accuracy of my work!

I actually had an instructor in my office building ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. (A liberal...) When I told him a mother he said, "really? That's kind of a waste don't you think? You're good... You have skills... you should be a lawyer or something. You need a career."

So... other than the complete stupidity of that sentence - the faculty are pleased!

Now that my brag session is over...it's time for bed! Waking up at 6am every morning demands an earlier bedtime... which is closely approaching!!
