Shatley Springs

When we came out of the AT (Appalachian trail), we all headed to a place in the middle of nowhere, NC called Shatley Springs! They are "famous" for their restaurant. We ate so much, it was probably sinful! We stayed at a cabin there, showered, and had an amazing last night together! The next day we parted: Shane returned home and Steven and I went to Cherokee, NC to watch an outdoor drama called "Unto these hills." (great, by the way!!) On our way to Cherokee, we drove through the Smoky Mountains. It was a wonderful end to an amazing week! I still can't believe it's over... what an amazing experience.... that will last a lifetime!!
