God can work through the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary!

In my quiet time today, I read about this incredible truth!
Take Moses... God appeared to him and told him to rescue His people from Egypt. Moses replied to Him, "Who am I, that I should go to the Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?...O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue...O Lord, please send someone else to do it." (Ex. 3,4)
God revealed to Moses what he was about to do... and invited Moses to join Him!! Moses believed God could do everything He said He could and would do... so Moses said Yes!! Henry Blackaby said, "When God does a God-sized work through your life, you will be humbled before him." God used ordinary people like Moses, Elijah, Peter, and John to accomplish great tasks! Again, Blackaby states, "The people you generally see in scriptures were ordinary. Their relationships with God and the activity of God made them extraordinary."
Dwight Moody, a poorly educated shoe salesman who was called to preach the gospel, said, "The world has yet to see what God can do with and for and through and in a man who is fully and wholly consecrated to Him."
that's all it takes! One ordinary person! One ordinary Christian in the hand of God can do ANYTHING!!! God can do the extraordinary through the ordinary. All you have to do is believe that He can!! (And he can!)
"When you believe nothing significant can happen through you, you have said more about your belief in God than you have declared about yourself. You have said that God is incapable of doing anything significant through you. The truth is, He is able to do anything He pleases with one ordinary person who is fully consecrated to Him."
Just make yourself available! That's all I need to do! Be available! God will reward my faithfulness, no matter how little or how much my responsibility! If God calls me to a tiny task, He will reward my faithfulness. If He calls me to something great... He will reward my faithfulness!
Availability and Willingness to follow... that's all it takes!
