Country Road... take me home!!
Steven and I have been here in West Virginia since Thursday evening visiting with some very dear friends of ours - Shane and Becky Suiter! We haven't seen them since July 2007 - so, it has been really great to hang out and spend time with them! I forget how much I miss being around them!! Shane pastors Crossroads Church here in Westover - and we were able to attend on Sunday... WOW!! Ian did a great job with worship and Shane blew me away! It's how church should be! So of course... with the trip comes the desire of wanting to move here. This is something we've gone back and forth over the past four years. We struggle with knowing whether or not this is where God wants us. Is it us wanting to be here... or is it God wanting us to be here? Not sure what the answer to that question is - though I've been learning that God is at work all around... and you should always be aware of where God is working - and then jump in to join him. As long as God is working... I don't see a problem with coming, but I have a really bias opinion ... so I really don't know!
As far as the title to this post goes - you all know the John Denver song! Brannon and Anna listen to it at least ten times a day! They start the song and just sing and dance all over the living room! It's really cute.. But it says, "Country road... take me home, to the place I belong! West Virginia, mountain mama take me home!" So yeah since we're in West Virginia... it seemed appropriate!
