Heaven, not earth, is my home!
(Principle #3)
"All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admited that they were aliens and strangers on earth...instead they were longing for a better country- a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them." - Heb. 11:13,16
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from htere, the Lord Jesus Christ." - Phil. 3:20
"Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. " - 2 Cor. 5:1
There is a saying that says, "he who dies with the most toys wins" but as Alcorn says, a more accurate saying is, "He who dies with the most toys - still dies!!
Our life here on earth begins... and ends - we all will die one day, and by the grace of God and God alone will we reside in our eternal dwelling - HEAVEN!! Jesus Christ came to die for us in order that we may have eternal life! Once we leave this life, there is another - one that will last FOREVER!! What are we living for?! As I've said before, we should live for eternity... put our money into things that moths and rust cannot destroy - Kingdom things! Give to the needy, tithe to your church, feed the hungry! To God be the Glory, great things he hath done!!!
