Still Sick!

I realize it's been a while since I've posted anything about my quiet times, but I promise, I have had them!!! Things have been really crazy the last week - not a lot of time to post.

And I've been sick since Tuesday night! I've never been this sick for this long. I finally went to the doctor yesterday. He suspected the flu, so he gave me a flu test. I'm not sure how many of you have ever had one of those... but I thought I was going to die. He stuck a ... metal wire?? up my nose. That thing had to be 5-6 inches long!! It went up my nose, past my eye, curved to touch... something.. and once it reached it's destination, the doctor had to twist it!! The most painful thing I've felt in a long time. It felt like someone kept punching me in the nose!! Ouch!

But after all of that, I found out that I did not have the flu. Im not sure what I have, but I've had a fever since Tuesday night. I got it down to 99 yesterday... I've not been really congested... but I've been coughing like it's nobody's business, really weak, achey, etc... The Dr. subscribed some cough medicine and an antibiotic to try to make it go away. He subscribed some for Steven too - because he's beginning to catch whatever yuck I have!!

So the past few days have been awful. I feel better today, although I'm still not well (and I still have a slight fever).
