Uncertainty

My mind is clouded with uncertainty! I have absolutely zero idea what my future holds. For me, that is huge! I've always had a plan and I always know what happens next... but right now, I am completely clueless! Steven and I are waiting to hear something from the prison in Morgantown! We've been waiting for 2 months and haven't heard anything! So we are beginning to wonder, if we don't get the job, what will we do next? Will I continue with school? What happens if we get transferred in the middle of the semester? Should I even go back to school? I'll eventually be a stay-at-home mom, so will it be worth it? If I don't go and if we don't move, what will I do? Will I continue to work at Lenny's? Should I find a better job? Where would I work?

We want so badly to move to West Virginia! The move would solve all of that!! I have no idea what God wants for me! I've never been so uncertain in my whole life! I've pondered this the past few days to the point that it's beginning to stress me out a little... but I've decided that my answer is simple! ASK GOD!! A great friend of mine once said, "We claim to want to see God's Kingdom come and then we neglect the most powerful thing we have to see that happen.” If I really... REALLY want to see God move and if I REALLY want Him to reveal his will for my life, I must seek him! I receive not because I ask not!!! Prayer!! Something I do not do enough! It's amazing how many decisions I make on my own, without seeking the counsel of the All Mighty!

“Give ear to my words, O lord, consider my sighing. Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, O lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation…Lead me, O lord in your righteousness.” – Ps. 5:1-3, 8a

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” – Phil. 4:6-7

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”- Mt. 7:7-8
